The Hacker Mobile...

Scott's 2006 Dodge Magnum RT

Here's what it looks like zoomed out a bit..

While looking, I also found something else that looked cool. A cold air intake (CAI). Researching on www.custommagnums.com and other magnum/charger/300C forums, it became apparent, the performance increase wouldn't be great, but it would improve the sound. I chose to go with the MOPAR version, just because I liked the look, purchased again on Ebay, and also installed by myself.

It took about 2 hours to install... It would of take 45 minutes or so, but I dropped a damn bolt. Had to jack up the car, move the tire out of the way, reach in find it..... ARG what a pain. But I found it...

Not expecting any performance increase, but looking for sound... I got to say, I am thrilled.

It shifts cleaner, and passes better. Passing takes planning though. Hitting it going 65, you will be up that guys ass before you know it.. 65-95 happens before you know it.

My iPod mount finally came in... Ok not really. Car toys ordered it, 2 days after I bought the car. 4 weeks later, it still was not in. I cancelled the order, bought it online from panaviseonline.com and had it 3 days later...

I did go to car toys to have it installed, not for the mount, but for the wiring into the VES (Video Entertainment System). Also, one problem with the VES was while it has A/V inputs, it didn't have an AC adapter. So how are my kids to play XBox while we are cruising?
