It was a cool car to start with... However as fun as it was... It just didn't sound right. Frankly, I had never owned a car I even considered modifying (except as a repair...) Man I didn't know the fun I was in for... Purchased at Beaverton Dodge in Beaverton Oregon.

It started with the mufflers... To start with, new chrome tips and rear mufflers, The RT has 3.. From the cat back, you have the crossover, then a resonating dual muffler, then 2 mufflers to the tips. I replaced the 2 mufflers. I put on Magnaflow mufflers and chrome tips. Work done by Exhaust Specialties in Beaverton OR. I had the mufflers painted black to make the chrome stand out...

At the same time, I put on a K&N filter, just to make sure it wouldn't be intake limited with the new exhaust.

But I had a problem... It wasn't enough! I wanted more.. More power... More sound.... The disease was starting to take hold.... So I went back to the shop, and had them replace out the resonator muffler in the middle, with 2 Magnaflow straight back packs.
