We are currently searching for a very talented C++ developer in the area around Portland Oregon.
We are searching for a developer to work on customer projects. Sometimes this is together with other developers, sometimes you will be on your own.
Almost all projects are expected to be Qt coding. Usually it is on Linux or Windows, but other systems are possible.
Most projects require some travel to the customer site. Customers are usually located in Europe or USA.
You will get a good salary, the actual amount is of course based on qualifications. Whether you want to allocate some of this to a retirement fund is up to you. You can choose your notice period yourself - 1, 2, or 3 months. Additionally, we pay for overtime and all travel expenses.
As a consultant, you will get to work on a very wide range of applications. It is vital that you thrive on new challenges, since you will usually not work more than six months on the same project.
It is an absolute must that you consider yourself well on the way to becoming an expert in C++ development. If you have Qt coding experience, that's even better.
We expect that you have at least the equivalent of a masters degree in computer science from a good university.
You must be prepared to travel, sometimes with very short notice.
We want developers who are constantly reading new books or learning new environments to better their skills. Don't apply if you think your current skillset will be sufficient.
You must be fluent in English. All other languages are a bonus.
